Jan writes and leads women’s retreats in America and overseas. In 2017, she published her first book, Rooted Woman of Valor, on Amazon.

As the Coordinator of 200 Pastors’ Wives in the Great Lake District of the EFCA, she writes a blog for pastors’ wives to connect, encourage, and resource them. Jan is writing her second book rooted in the truths of Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah 1:1-6.

Jan C. Thompson and her husband, Rick, live in the Chicago area. Their shared vision for pastoral and missional ministry led them to Chicago, Iowa, Moscow, Russia, Texas, and back to Chicago over forty years. They minister with the Great Lakes District of the EFCA.

They enjoy visiting their adult children and grandchildren in North Caroline and Brazil.
